Extending a helping hand to those in need in the Sherwood community.
With help from the Oregon Food Bank, local donations, and volunteers Sherwood Helping Hands extends support to families in need. We keep all information confidential.
We encourage families who may be going through a tough time due to job changes or loss of job, economy downfall or just needing a little help each month to call us. Everyone needs a helping hand once in a while!
Helping Hands feeds an average of 80 families every month. Food is available for pick-up by the families on the 3rd Saturday of each month.
Helping Hands Supplies Local Families In Need With:
· Fresh Dairy Products
· Eggs
· Fresh Meat Products
· Fresh Produce
· Bread
· Cereal
· Canned Fruits and Vegetables
· Soups
· Toilet Paper
· Soaps and Detergents

Saturday, January 21, 2012. Pick-up time is from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Families:
Please remember to call us by Monday, January 16th to reserve your food box for Saturday, January 21st. You will be able to pick-up your food on Saturday between 9:30 am and 12:00 pm at the Sherwood United Methodist Church located at 22280 SW Washington Street, across from Stella Olson Park.
Call Gerry & Dottie Edy at 503-625-7744 no later than Monday, January 16th to confirm your pick-up.
It is very crucial that you call early to reserve your food box as we need to order milk, fresh bread and produce for each family.
